Scott Joplin:

The Entertainer 8kb

This is probably now the most familiar tune written by Scott Joplin, though not a huge a success in his lifetime.  It was used for in the film "The Sting."  Here transcribed for solo guitar, it requires good playing technique, such as any good, graduate-level guitarist might possess.

Maple Leaf Rag 4kb

The most popular of Scott Joplin's compositions, it is a show-stopper.  It also requires good technique, graduate-level.
