Our Goal; Why Your American Birthright Is At Risk; What Cobblemead Is Doing; Why We Also Have Musical Topics; What We Can Do: What You Can DoOur Goal:To foster and revive the original American Dream: Personal freedom, personal responsibility, and the vast security and artistic beauty that they bring forth. Let us explain:Everyone knows there is no personal freedom for "have-nots:" The thirsty, hungry, or homeless naturally drift into being the servants of the "haves." On what might seem like the plus side, they are entrusted with less and less responsibility and authority. Most Americans are much closer to these privations than they know. Think about it: Would a long and severe slow-down in your income make you stoop to relying on others' charity? Who would cover your rent, mortgage, or auto loans? Who would supply your needs? Who would shelter and feed your family? Why Your American Birthright Is At RiskAmericans long ago forgot the skills that made our nation free and secure:
We Americans have willfully neglected our duty to know the above skills. We're throwing away the cornerstone of freedom for ourselves and future generations. Why? Because knowing these things isn't vital to our liberty or our security right this minute, and won't be...until ruin is upon us. Those who take even a little time to learn self-reliance will one day be the masters of those who don't. In the 20th Century, Americans defeated the Great Depression, Nazism, and Communism, while still largely knowing the skills of liberty. But today we're failing at our most sacred obligation: To pass on the skills that guarantee personal autonomy. And in so doing we're denying to our heirs the goodness and culture that come only from independence and freedom. What Cobblemead Is Doing About ItWe have worked for more than 30 years to unearth, test, fine-tune—and now—to make available this essential knowledge: Skills every American has a right and a duty to know. It is today possible even for the poorest Americans to make a rich, honorable living in about 3 hours' daily labor, leaving the rest of the day to do as they please:
These skills allowed 3 generations of some Eastern Europeans to stay free and happy—right under the noses of Iron Curtain dictators—by cloaking their liberty with apparent folksy virtue and/or irrelevance. These skills allow today's Americans to lawfully refuse to pay for official policies they oppose. These skills shield Americans from the onslaught of massive terrorism, disasters and recessions. They will make those who know them free, even after our citizens have eagerly traded the last of our liberties for promises of safety. Why We Also Have Musical TopicsMan doesn't live by bread alone. We're also helping present great music for the most popular and affordable of musical instruments, the guitar. Young and old show a national interest in the guitar. All races and ethnic groups seem to take it up. It is an American heritage. It subtly, almost secretly, unites our people in appreciation of its song. It is our vehicle of choice for musical expression. We at Cobblemead want to help people grow beyond childish so-called "pop" and "country" music and the increasingly tuneless, cacophonous so-called "art" music. What We Can Do; What You Can DoWe're a FOR PROFIT charitable organization. Albeit, what little "profits" we have made have all been put back into our research and development to help folks of limited means become independent. We have never accepted the many grants and loans offered to us by government and private benefactors. None of the methods we advocate rely on them. We practice what we preach. If you find you'd like to support this work, please don't offer money. Instead, why not buy some of our books, and distribute them to needy people? Or use the knowledge yourself, to achieve a safe, happy life of country self-support! A gift of money merely prolongs someone's life until the charity itself is spent. A gift of knowledge prolongs your charity long after your life is spent.
